Nominated President

Hi I am Gabriel Vanasse

 

As an analytically focused, results driven junior engineer, I have worked on a variety of process improvement projects across both the manufacturing and service sectors. I have the ability to analyze and dissect problems of large scopes in order to develop efficient systems and implementable solutions.

Nominated Vice President

Hi I am Hyame Alameddine

 

I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. degree at the Concordia Institute of Information Systems Engineering, Concordia University and working in the fields of Cloud Computing and Network Function Virtualization. I am the co-founder of the Montreal Operations Research student chapter and occupied the positions of Academic Events Director in the past year and I am currently the Vice President.

Hi I am Golnar Kalantar

 

I started my Master’s degree in September 2016 in Quality Systems Engineering at CIISE. My ambition to learn and discover more in Signal Processing field has driven me to do research on a broad range of subjects, from Biosignals (EEG & ECG) to Indoor Positioning. Also, I have always been passionate to improve the quality of students life through students’ communities and have been collaborating with a number of them since I started my program, in order to reach the goal of nurturing our talents and skills together and learning collectively, as a family.

Hi I am Amir Amini

 

I am currently a Ph.D. researcher at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. I work with Dr. Amir Asif and Dr. Arash Mohammadi in Intelligent Signal And Information Processing (I-SIP) Lab. I recieved my M.Sc. degree from Tarbiat Modares university, Tehran, Iran. I worked with Dr. Mahdi Sojoodi. I also received the B.Sc. degree from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2012 in Electrical Engineering.
